The Chambon is a schooling system consisting of a poll pad fitted over the top of the horses head, to which pulleys are attatched on either side. A strap is attatched to the roller which passes up between the horses front legs, before dividing into two cords. The two cords fit over the pulleys and are clipped onto the bit rings. The Chambon encourages the horse to lower its head and neck and round its back, which in turn encourages engagement of the hindquarters.
The Chambon can be used on horses which are being loosed schooled but is not designed to be ridden in.
